Slip

A phenomenon that occurs when the two dimensions (Earth & Thaumatos) not only touch but intersect. As the two dimensions are not in fixed positions, they shift against each other, leading to the sudden appearances and disappearances of what you humans call cryptids (Thaumatosians) to disappear all of sudden.

Grimmerion

A group of beings, tasked with traveling between Thaumatos and Earth. It is their job to record tales from each side and relay them to the other. The Grimmerions live in a place called the Tower in the southern portion of the of Mythos.

Scribery

What the writings of a scribe is called; the name of The Scribe's shop at The Dragon's Cottage. 

Otherkin

 Otherkin is another term for Thaumatosians or Thaumatos Natives

Civil

Creatures that have developed culture and a functioning civilization involving trade, government, and hierarchy and cities. 

Teas 

Oaken Days: A black tea that that has a charmingly scent of autumn days with a subtle hint of floral notes. 

Twine

The bond that Elementals and E.C.s have. This occurs at the birth of the E.C.. From physical markings to even visible wisp of elemental magic will show up on the bonded. These features will be identical on the pair allowing for easy identification of the pairs.

The Void

The place between the dimensions of Thaumatos and Earth. Red's Holding Point is located here. 

Wrangler

Cowboys best known for their magical abilities to rope anything. Hence the term, Wrangler

RAWR

RAWR or Re- Adjustment Whimsical Rendering is what Thaumatosians call the process humans go through upon entering Thaumatos, at least most of them. Those who do not, are taken, ahem, escorted to Alternity. Where Red and Icarus help the human ‘choose’ their new species. Just try not to end up a barnacle.  

Wyld

Magical beings that have developed culture, hierarchy, government, but do not have a designated population cluster, nomadic or sedentary.

A term similar to Milord or Milady; a but for used for affluent scribes.

Rabble

Flock of imps. Can be dangerous for the causual observer. The Bureau of Minor Magical Beings recommends that citizens take refuge in their homes or nearby shelters and or buildings. 

Feral

These magical beings have yet to develop sentience beyond basic or trained instinct. As individuals, they could be more, develop further, but such a step in evolution would require an outside variable. 

Night of Olden

A celebration on the 21st of Hecate honoring the the lowering of the veil when the two worlds would naturally link together in certain places; There are 11 portals world-wide.

The Bureau of Minor Magical Beings or BOMMB specializes in smaller, almost pest-category magical beings. Some species are wyld, and some have formed civilizations. A series of tests and observation teams determine the line between civil, wyld, and feral.
